Missouri - St. Louis

There is a calm, cool attitude that comes through in a midwesterner that was worth capturing. A St. Louis blues musician perfectly portrays that attitude and the blues are ingrained in the city's culture — it is are the home of The National Blues Museum. The hardworking attitude of the city fits with this musician in a state of concentration. The "St. Louis Blues" call out and the dreary pallate shows a little attitude that comes against the city's not-so-predictable weather, If you take a closer look, you'll see the "Show Me State" — his whole body is based on the shape of Missouri. You will also see the colors of our Stanley Cup–winning hockey team the St. Louis Blues.

Ryan is a creative at heart and in action. He has worked for more than 13 years as a creative in many forms — creative director, art director, graphic designer, illustrator and for a short time a design teacher. Currently he leads and inspires a team of creative misfits at HLK a creative technology agency in St. Louis. There he works on everything from global technology solutions, brand strategy and design, creative content, and digital advertising. He is a lover of the Papermate mechanical pencil, disruptive creative and doodling on anything.
