Growing up, home was on the coast of Charleston. I spent so many summer days soaking up the sunshine at the beach that I always miss the smell of the saltwater. I love the historical buildings of Charleston, especially the iconic Rainbow Row. I wanted to create a bright colorful piece; hopefully to invoke the same kind of refreshing smell of the salty ocean.
