Kentucky - Grayson Lake State Park

I lived in Kentucky with my sister, mom, and grandma from fifth grade to sophomore year. At the time, my life there was tanning while driving a riding lawnmower, trampoline sleepovers, prom in a cave, floating the creek, and chasing the emus at the farm next door. We visit still, to see grandma, and I'm always so stunned by the new magical landscapes I uncover. I didn't realize 'til recently how many incredible waterfalls the state boasts.

Jennifer Hood is a mildly tortured artist interested in design, smelling issues of Esquire Magazine, the golden age of television (what a time to be alive), and basketball. She co-founded Hoodzpah, a branding studio, and co-wrote "Freelance, and Business, and Stuff: A Guide for Creatives."
