This piece depicts the twisted false nostalgia of the Trump presidency pitted against my own confusion as I recall the idyllic nostalgia of my youth growing up in Washington, D.C. The otherwise tranquil cherry blossoms that usually sit gently along the tidal basin are rendered slimy and radioactive, sucking distorted false monuments into a new hellish void. "Great Again." Finally.

Drew Litowitz is a graphic designer working at the intersection of branding, music, and media. He currently lives and works in New York City, as a Designer at the music publication, Pitchfork. He holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
